End of Season Forage and Feast Experience

Lead by Emily Murphy and Jim Storrar.
The walk will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about plant’s and mushrooms (rain depending) and what to do with your produce. The walk will be in Chantry Woods in Guildford. A 200-acre woodland & meadow reserve featuring stunning hillside views over the region.
We will discuss ID features of edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms and will collect and gather late summer fruits, seeds, edible plants and hopefully some mushrooms.
Then, the special treat, we sit down and enjoy a superb two course forager's lunch and refreshments while we discuss all things to do with plants and fungi, a time to answer all your questions!
The menu will showcase the best of this seasons wild food, freshly foraged and prepared by Emily.

From Lisa
“I went for two guided foraging talks with Emily last year and both were so informative and engaging. Even though I was a complete beginner the talk was tailored to covering all the basics, common mistakes, foraging laws right up to any recipes that we could make with what we gathered. Both times we had fresh baked goods from Emily using bits she had foraged which was not only scrummy but shows the potential of what you can find and create! A lovely outing where even my little poodle could come and enjoy the walk!”
