About our Forays

I am very happy that Emily Murphy, our forager, has joined with Jim Storrer, a well known expert mycologist to guide us through the world of fungi!

This is a truly fascinating subject, much more than 'what can I eat' or 'which ones are poisonous'. Let Jim take us through this subject finding all sorts of fungi and explaining their function.

The experts leading us on the forays rely on income from this type of work for their living. This ticket price of £20 is split between them and wildlife charities. Blackwater Valley Nature Walks makes no charge.

This is our sixth event in 2022. They have always been very successful and were great fun and full of interest. You'll love it!
